Tip of the Day

There's a lot of talk about detoxing. With so many different detoxifying programs out there, it can be hard to pick and choose the one that will work for you. I personally like to keep it as natural as possible. What's more natural than using things right in the produce aisle at your grocery store? 

I stumbled upon an interesting detoxing drink right on a Google+ health community. I've actually never tried this recipe, but I have used a lemon/lime water drink. And it was not bad at all. So I looked up some interesting facts about each of the ingredients below that makes this drink a detoxifying fighter!

Lemon: 
 Aids in weight loss, the digestive system, prevents constipation and diarrhea by ensuring bowel functions, plays the role as a blood purifier, an antiseptic, conditions the liver, helps dissolve gall bladder stones, and rejuvenates healthy skin.

Cucumbers:
  Also helps in weight loss and reduces blood pressure, its a natural rehydrater, diuretic which helps in kidney health, helps with diabetes, and aids in supple looking skin.

Mint:
 Has anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties, aids in digestive health, and improves allergies
